MUNCY - On Saturday morning, September 8th, the East Lycoming YMCA held a ribbon cutting and a rededication ceremony at their facility to acknowledge ten years of service and support in the greater Muncy community.

SuperStars came back for their regular Saturday morning sessions after taking a summer hiatus. A small display with light refreshments was available for patrons and all the directors greeted everyone as they entered the front of the building.

"We have grown over the years, and we are looking forward to serving the community another ten years," announced Heather Graham director of the ELYMCA. A short program highlighted ten years of health and wellness, building families and fostering relationships, and developing strong kids.

A campaign to support the mission of the Y also was introduced and donations are accepted all year long. "One hundred percent of the money donated goes directly to the benefit of children, adults and families in our community," said Graham after the dedication.

A ribbon cutting was held outside with the fitness directors and some of the volunteers. The facility is located at Fitness Drive in Muncy Township.
