Mr. and Mrs. Robert Ambrovich Sr., Charlotte, N.C., will observe their 55th wedding anniversary Sept. 26, 2009.

They were married at St. John Lutheran “Brick” Church, Montgomery. They are members of Williams Memorial Presbyterian Church, Charlotte.

Mrs. Ambrovich, the former Frances D. Atkins, is a native of Montgomery. She is the daughter of the late Ethel and Ray Atkins. She retired in 1985 from Divine Providence Hospital, where she was employed as a licensed practical nurse.

Mr. Ambrovich, a native of Masontown, is the son of the late Julia and John Matson. He retired in 2004 as the owner of Ambrovich Electric Co. and Amber Rentals Inc.

They are the parents of four daughters, Ann Krul, Michigan, Valerie Bailey, Texas, Debra Usher, North Carolina, and Mary Jo Ambrovich, Florida, and a son, Robert Jr., Pennsylvania. There are seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
