Mr. and Mrs. Gary L. Sullivan, Hughesville, will observe their 50th wedding anniversary on Thursday, November 26, 2009. They were married by the Reverend Richard Kelchner at Community Church of Unityville.

Mrs. Sullivan, the former Donna Jane Croman, is a native of Hughesville. She is the daughter of the late Wayne and Marian “Skip” Croman. She is a graduate of Hughesville High School and is retired from East Lycoming School District.

Mr. Sullivan is a native of Hughesville. He graduated from Hughesville High School and was employed by GTE Sylvania until its closure. He is the son of Wanda Sullivan and the late Harvey Sullivan.

Gary and Donna are the parents of two sons, Geoff and Michael. There are three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

In honor of their anniversary, a dinner was held at the Post 35 American Legion in Hughesville on November 21.
