Mrs. Houseknecht, the former Florence Whitmoyer, is a native of Hughesville. She is the daughter of the late Bessie and Wheeler Whitmoyer. She attended Hughesville schools and retired in 1986 from Sylvania, Montoursville, after 34 years of employment.

Mr. and Mrs. Albert Houseknecht, Hughesville, will observe their 64th wedding anniversary June 30, 2010.

They were married by the Rev. Adam Bingaman at St. John Lutheran “Brick” Church, Montgomery. They are members of Messiah Lutheran Church, Clarkstown.

Mrs. Houseknecht, the former Florence Whitmoyer, is a native of Hughesville. She is the daughter of the late Bessie and Wheeler Whitmoyer. She attended Hughesville schools and retired in 1986 from Sylvania, Montoursville, after 34 years of employment.

Mr. Houseknecht, a native of Muncy, is the son of the late Florence and Wilbert Houseknecht. He graduated from Muncy High School and served in the Army during World War II in the South Pacific. He retired in 1982 from Schnadig Furniture, Montoursville.

They are the parents of two daughters, Beverly Houseknecht and Doris Frantz, both of Hughesville, and a son, Wayne T., Clarkstown. There are three granddaughters and one stepgrandson. There are two great-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren.
