Mr. and Mrs. Stuart C. Wolfe of Hughesville celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary on Wednesday, August 29, 2012.

• They were married by the Rev. James R. Ritter, Jr., brother of the bride, and the Rev. George Doran, in Trinity Lutheran Church, Hughesville, where the couple are still members.

• Mrs. Wolfe, the former Mary Megan Ritter, is a native of Hughesville. She is the daughter of James R. Ritter, Sr., and the late Megan G. Ritter, Hughesville. She graduated from Hughesville High School in 1979 and Bloomsburg University. She is employed by Publicis Touchpoint Solutions as a pharmaceutical sales representative.

Mr. Wolfe is the son of the late Jack D. and Edith B. Wolfe. He graduated from Hughesville High School in 1980 and the Pennsylvania State University and Lock Haven University. He is employed by Benton Foundry, Benton, as a computer specialist.

• They are the parents of a son, Coleman, Hughesville.

• The couple celebrated their anniversary, along with their fiftieth birthdays with a reception at the Hughesville Firemen’s Social Hall. In lieu of gifts they requested donations be made to the Lycoming County S.P.C.A. Over eight hundred dollars was raised and an assortment of pet items were accrued for the S.P.C.A. during the event.
