Mr. and Mrs. Dio Vandine will observe their 60th anniversary on Feb. 7, 2013.

They were married by Rev. Clay Reed in the Moreland Community

Church, Muncy. They have attended and are members of Hughesville Friends Church for 55 years.

Mrs. Vandine is a native of Muncy. She is the daughter of the late Daniel and Claire Ellis of Muncy. She attended Muncy Schools. She worked at Welding Sewing Factory, Sylvania, Lysock View and East Lycoming School District. She retired from a business at her home

after 25 years.

Mr. Vandine is a native of Muncy. He attended Muncy Schools. He is the son of the late Bruce and Ocie Vandine, Muncy. He served two years in the Army during the Korean War. He worked for Howard

Faus installing carpet. He retired from International Furniture Co. after 35 years and has had his own upholstery business at his

home for many years.

They are the parents of two daughters, Teresa Hall of Hughesville and Linda and Tony Kaiser of Hughesville. They have three grandsons, five great grandsons and one great granddaughter.

In honor of their anniversary, a family dinner will be held at the

Country Cupboard in Lewisburg.
