Art and Marge (Webster) Danley celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Nov 9. The couple were married at the Presbyterian Church in Muncy by the Reverand Brooks.

To celebrate the occasion, the Danley’s enjoyed a cruise to the Panama Canal. Upon their return, the couple was surprised with a party where many family and friends gathered from near and far. The event was held at the Moose Club arranged by daughter Stephanie Denis and aided by Cyndi Bayley and Shirley Shaner.

The Danleys are the parents of Charles Danley of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Stephanie Denis of Hamburg, Pennsylvania. There are two grandchildren; Jennifer and James Denis.

Both Danleys retired on Friday, October 13, 2000, Marge from Young Industries, and Art from Kelloggs, both of Muncy.

For 38 years, the couple has traveled extensively as guides for the Pennsylvania Ridge Runners. They’ve been to 50 states, all Canadian Provinces and Mexico.
