Announcement has been made of the engagement of Erica

DiRico, of Wayne, and Derek Benedict, of Hughesville.

DiRico is the daughter of Robert and Wendy DiRico, of Wayne. She graduated from Conestoga High School, Berwyn, in 2008 and received her Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Mathematics Education from Penn State University in 2012. She is a Geometry and Algebra II teacher at Radnor High School, Radnor.

Benedict is the son of Dean and Cindy Benedict of Hughesville. He graduated from Hughesville High School in 2008 and received his Bachelor’s degree in Secondary English Education from Penn State University in 2012. He is employed as a tenth grade English teacher at Radnor High School in Radnor.

A June 29 wedding in Wayne is being planned.
