Gary and Ann VanDine, of Muncy, announce the engagement of their daughter, Amiann O. VanDine of Pittsburgh, to Brynn C. Bower of Hughesville, son of Edward and Mary Bower of Hughesville.

Amiann is a 2005 gradate of Hughesville High School. She received her BS in deaf education in 2009 from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and later received a Master’s Degree in Reading from Edinboro University. Amiann currently is a full time deaf education teacher with the Allegheny Intermediate Unit, Pittsburgh.

Brynn is a 2004 graduate of Hughesville High School. Brynn currently owns and operates Brynn Bower Farm, a dairy and crop producing operation.

Plans are currently being made for an October 2014 wedding.
