Announcement has been made of the engagement of Heidi Lynn Edkin, Picture Rocks, and Patrick Raymond Gitschlag, Unityville.

Heidi is the daughter of George and Susan Edkin, of Picture Rocks. She graduated from Hughesville High School in 2008 and received an Associates Degree in Nursing from Pennsylvania College of Technology in 2013. She is employed by Maneval’s Notary and Tag Service of Hughesville.

Patrick is the son of Lydi-Ann Gitschlag, of Unityville. He graduated from Hughesville High School in 2007 and will be receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Administration from Post University in Waterbury, CT in May, 2014. He is employed by Dick’s Sporting Goods and Millville High School.

A Sept. 6, 2014, wedding at the First United Methodist Church in Muncy is being planned.
