Jessi Irion, 22-year old female, Montoursville, was taken into custody on Jan. 4, 2009. A traffic stop was initiated on 1-180 eastbound, Loyalsock Township for a traffic offense. During the course of the traffic stop, it was determined that Irion was DUI.

Joel Roman, 19-year old, Sicklerville, NJ, was charged for being in possession of Vicodin. The accused was stopped on I-180, Loyalsock Township, for operating a vehicle without displaying a registration plate. During the traffic stop the accused was found to be in possession of Vicodin and does not have a prescription for this.

On Dec. 18, 2008 two white male suspects appearing to be in their late teens to early 20s were scene on Fairfield Drive. One male exited the vehicle and damaged items belonging to T. Cameron, a 24 year old female at an apartment complex on Four-Mile Drive, Williamsport. Any information on suspects can contact PSP Montoursville.

A traffic accident occurred on Jan. 6, 2009 in Loyalsock Township on Log Run Road. The vehicle was driven by Alex Cillo, 19, Williamsport. The two passengers were Antonio Cillo, 22 and a 16-year old male, both of Williamsport. As the vehicle was traveling westbound on Log Run Road, the vehicle began sliding around on the snow covered road. The driver applied the brakes and the vehicle slid across the oncoming traffic lane, off the road, and down a 20-foot embankment coming to rest on its roof. The occupants crawled out of the wreck to safety. Causal Factor. The roadway was slick as determined by investigating trooper. Minor injuries.

On Jan. 6, 1009 Danielle Cutchall, Danville, was traveling southbound on SR 405 in Clinton Twp. Lycoming County. For unknown reasons she lost control of her vehicle and traveled off the southbound lane of SR 405 and onto the southbound shoulder at which time struck a utility pole. The vehicle sheared off the utility pole and continued to travel until it struck a swing set located in a home owners yard at which time the vehicle came to a final rest against the swing set facing south. Cutchall was wearing her seatbelt and was seen by EMS and did not receive any further medical treatment. She was cited for a violation of PA VC 3309, Roadways Laned for Traffic and a citation was filed.

An automobile accident occurred on SR 44 north of Ramsey Village in Watson Township. The driver, Diana Wurster, Jersey Shore, along with passenger, Melvin Hauser, Waterville, were traveling southbound when Wurster lost control on slushed covered roadways. The vehicle then exited the road along the east berm coming to a final rest after striking an embankment. Wurster was cited for driving at safe speeds.

On Jan. 6, 2008 a crash occurred as Cindy Whitford, Hughesville, was traveling behind Brian Ciravolo, Montoursville. While traveling eastbound on SR 118, Ciravolo stopped behind another stopped as it approached the intersection of Third Street, Hughesville. Ciravolo began to move forward again when Whitford attempted to stop behind Ciravolo but the tires slid on the ice covered roadway. The point of initial impact occurred as Whitford’s volkswagen’s front struck the Ford Fusion. Both vehicles came to the position of final rest near the point of impact. Whitford was not cited due to the roadway being covered with ice/slush/and snow.
