The National Weather Service in State College has issued winter storm watch for the following counties and cities: Tioga, Clinton, Lycoming, Sullivan, Union, Snyder, Montour, Northumberland, Columbia, Schuylkill including the cities of Lock haven, Williamsport, Mansfield, Wellsboro, Trout Run, Laporte, Lewisburg, Selinsgrove, Danville, Sunbury, Shamokin, Bloomsburg, Berwick, Pottsville 349 am est mon jan 26 2009

Winter storm watch in effect from tuesday evening through wednesday evening…

Today…Mostly cloudy. A slight chance of light snow this morning. Highs in the mid 20s. West winds around 5 mph. Chance of snow 20 percent.

Tonight…Mostly cloudy. A chance of snow…Mainly after midnight. Lows around 15. Northwest winds around 5 mph. Chance of snow 50 percent.

Tuesday…Cloudy. A chance of snow in the morning. A dusting of snow possible. Highs around 30. North winds around 5 mph…Becoming northeast. Chance of snow 50 percent.

Tuesday night…Periods of snow. Moderate snow accumulation possible. Lows in the lower 20s. East winds around 5 mph. Chance of snow near 100 percent.

Wednesday…Periods of snow with a slight chance of sleet or freezing rain in the morning…Then a chance of snow showers in the afternoon. Additional moderate snow accumulation possible. Highs in the lower 30s. Northeast winds 5 to 10 mph… Becoming northwest. Chance of precipitation near 100 percent.

Wednesday night…Mostly cloudy with a 50 percent chance of snow showers. Lows around 15.

Thursday…Mostly cloudy. Highs around 30.

Thursday night…Mostly cloudy with a 30 percent chance of snow. Lows 10 to 15.

Friday…Mostly cloudy with a chance of snow and rain. Highs in the lower 30s. Chance of precipitation 30 percent.

Friday night…Mostly cloudy with a 30 percent chance of snow. Lows 15 to 20.
