The National Weather Service In State College Has Issued A Wind Advisory… Which Is In Effect From 6 AM To 5 PM EDT Monday.

A Gusty West Wind Will Develop Over The Region Monday Morning… As A Cold Front Sweeps Through. Wind Gusts As High As 45 To 50 Mph Are Expected From The Morning Hours Through The Early Afternoon… Especially Over The South Central Mountains Around Johnstown… Altoona And Bedford. A Ridge Of High Pressure Will Build In Late In The Day… Bringing Diminishing Winds.

A Wind Advisory Means That Sustained Winds Of 31 To 39 Mph Or Gusts Of 46 And 57 Mph Are Expected. Winds This Strong May Cause Minor Property Damage Without Extra Precautions.
