The following individuals have been charged with various criminal offenses, according to court

records:

Matthew Smith, 28, of 1380 Showers Road, Muncy; city police; resisting arrest, public drunkenness and possession of drug paraphernalia in the 800 block of Tucker Street on Dec. 25; a bench warrant for his arrest was expected to be filed after he failed to appear for a preliminary hearing.

Motorist Ryan Watson, 42, of 772 Heilman Road, Montoursville; Hughesville police; DUI and driving with a suspended license on Route 220 in Picture Rocks on Jan. 13; blood-alcohol content level was .16; sent a summons to appear before a district judge.

Motorist Joel Funston, 57, 179 Water St., Muncy; state police; DUI and careless driving at Northway Road and Shiffler Avenue in Loyalsock Township on Dec. 31; blood-alcohol content level .15; released on $5,000 bail.

Sentenced to county prison:

Penny L. Wettlaufer, 52, of 131 S. Main St., Muncy, 102 days to six months, 24 months probation and a drug and alcohol assessment for retail theft.

Sentenced to intermediate punishment:

Logan D. Rucker, 24, of 2474 Route 405, Muncy, 60 months, a drug and alcohol evaluation, DUI classes, and 50 hours of community service for DUI.
