On March 18 Paula Fought was traveling on SR 442 in Franklin Township westbound and was attempting to negotiate a left curve and entered the shoulder. While attempting to get back in the travel lane, she spun counter clockwise and traveled across both travel lanes facing east. She continued off the eastbound shoulder sliding and impacting a tree with its passenger side rearend. All occupants were transported to Geisinger Medical Center.
On March 17 on Kellyburg Road, Cascade Township in Lycoming County, S. Wesley Waldron of Lycoming County found an Excel, single barrel shotgun lying along Kellyburg Road. If anyone has information, contact PSP, Montoursville.
On March 18 around 11:30 p.m. at 21 S. Main Street, Hughesville the owner of Kathy’s Cafe observed the John Leslie Hamilton of 19C S. Main Street, Hughesville enter the rear entrance of her business. The business was closed and Hamilton was not authorized to enter. She contacted PSP Montoursville. Hamilton had just left the scene on a bicycle headed towards the Uni-mart and was stopped by PSP. Found on Hamilton was $20.95 in his possession. The owner of Kathy’s Cafe then provided serial numbers of the currency left in the cash register. The money found on the accused matched exactly to the list provided. Hamilton was charged with burglary, criminal trespass, theft by unlawful taking, and receiving stolen property. He was arraigned before Distrate Magistrate James Carn and placed in the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $25,000 straight bail.
A crash occurred on March 12 in Muncy Creek Township Tyler Raup, Turbotville was traveling north on Kiess Cross and came to a stop at the intersection of Clarkstown Road. John Rymell, Muncy was traveling west on Clarkstown Road. Raup started to cross Clarkstown Road into the path of Rymell. The front of Rymell struck the right rear of Raup. After impact Rymell traveled northwest and came to a rest in a private yard of the intersection. Raup continued north while sliding clockwise and came to a race facing south.
On March 12 at Big Dogz Bar in Hughesville, Lisa Williams, Hughesville was assaulted by Ashley Fry, Williamsport, at the bar. Fry was charged with harassment.
Between Feb. 4 and March 5 unknown actor(s) obtained James Seidel’s, Unityville, credit card information and used it to purchase $212.55 worth of merchandise online.
