Man allegedly delivered heroin to confidential informants

HUGHESVILLE – A Wolf Township man who allegedly sold heroin to confidential informants working with state police in the region was jailed following arraignment Friday, according to state police.

Seth E. Bucher, 24, of 52 Strawberry Lane allegedly sold $40 worth of the drug to an informant on Feb. 11 and then made a $160 sale on Feb. 13 in locations in the borough and township, according to an affidavit by Trooper John E. Whipple.

Bucher was picked up on an arrest warrant and arraigned before District Judge Allen P. Page III on two counts each of possession with intent to deliver heroin, delivery of heroin, possession of heroin and criminal use of a cellular phone.

He was committed to the County Prison in lieu of $35,000 bail.

Bucher has a preliminary hearing scheduled at 2:30 p.m. next Thursday before District Judge C. Roger McRae in Muncy.
