Hughesville-In response to a direct complaint made to the PA State Police at Montoursville regarding the sale of counterfeit trademarked merchandise, members of the PA State Police responded to the Lycoming County Fairgrounds to investigate reports of trade mark counterfeiting.

Upon arrival it was determined that two vendors were selling counterfeit designer handbags and other items. All suspected counterfeit items were seized by the PA State Police pending the outcome of the investigation.

The investigation is continuing and criminal charges against the suspects known to police are pending.
