State police Trooper Joseph D. Akers, right, leads Jesse E. Aul, 32, of 138 Reservoir Road, Hughesville, out of District Judge James G. Carn’s office following a Monday arraignment. Aul was charged with indecent assault and corruption of minors charges. He is imprisoned in lieu of $100,000 bail.
A local man was charged last Monday by state police for alleged sexual involvement with a young girl.
Jesse E. Aul, 32, of 138 Reservoir Road, Hughesville, is accused of fondling the girl and forcing her to do the same to him. “Aul was interviewed on (July 14 and 15 in reference to) the allegations,” state police Trooper Joseph D. Akers said in an affidavit. “(Aul) admitted to his actions and advised he was sorry, needed help and wanted to apologize to the victim.”
The 13-year-old girl allegedly was exposed to inappropriate touching that began when she was 7 years old and reportedly occurred on specific occasions until last month. The most recent encounter reported by police allegedly happened at a Renovo Borough home.
In Summer 2005, Aul is suspected of taking the girl with him on a two-week road trip while he was employed by a local trucking company. He is accused of sexually assaulting the girl at a truck stop near the intersection of Routes 11 and 15, Monroe Township, Snyder County. The incidents allegedly began in the Hughesville area during Summer 2002 at a Wolf Township home.
Police charged Aul, who was arraigned Monday before District Judge James G. Carn, with two counts of aggravated indecent assault, 12 counts of indecent assault and three counts of corruption of minors.
Aul was committed to the county prison in lieu of $100,000 bail.
