WATSONTOWN – A Lycoming County man from Wolf Township has been arrested on charges of allegedly raping a 20-year-old female acquaintance in her home on Wednesday afternoon, according to borough police.

Aaron L. Clark, 26, of 833 Pine Tree Road was taken into custody in the borough about four hours after the 2 p.m. attack, police said.

State police, the Northumberland County District Attorney and nurses at Evangelical Community Hospital in Lewisburg who treated the victim assisted with the investigation.

Clark was arraigned on charges of rape, sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault and indecent assault, and committed to the Northumberland County Prison in lieu of $75,000 bail.
