Police suspect prescription forged
MUNCY – A Muncy woman is accused of forging the date on an Oxycontin prescription, allegedly attempting to acquire the drug around noon Sept. 3.
A local doctor informed state police that a legitimate Sept. 4 prescription was altered to an incorrect date of Aug. 19.
Deborah Anne Cunningham, 43, of 211 Sherman St. later told police she was leaving for vacation the day she presented the fabricated prescription at the Townville Pharmacy, 2195 Route 442, Muncy Creek Township.
Cunningham was sent a summons to answer a charge of forgery filed against her at the office of District Judge C. Roger McRae.
