Police charge man for alleged cologne theft

PENNSDALE – A 49 year old Williamsport man has been charged with theft for allegedly stealing a $74 tester bottle of men’s cologne from a counter at Macy’s at the Lycoming Mall in October 15, Muncy township police said. Earnest Williams, Jr. of 816 Fourth Ave., has been sent a summons to appear before District Judge C. Roger McCrae.

Shoplifting alleged of city woman

PENNSDALE – Sheila Dawn Henry, 38, of Williamsport has been charged by Muncy Township police with misdemeanor shoplifting and receiving stolen property after she allegedly fled with $498 worth of merchandise from Sears at the Lycoming Mall on September 19.

Henry of 931 Park Ave. has been sent a summons to appear before District Judge C. Roger McRae.

Alleged shoplifter also accused of drugs

MONTGOMERY – A Hughesville resident caught allegedly shoplifting at the Uni-Mart on South Main Street faces additional charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after an officer found the person possessing a small bag of the controlled substance.

Gabriel B. Stiger, 21, of 15 Cemetery Street was nabbed taking a cupcake from a rack at the store about 12:45 a.m. on July 12.

Charged with shoplifting and drug related offenses, Stiger has been sent a summons to appear before District Judge C. Roger McRae.

Theft of chain saw alleged of man

MONTGOMERY – Jeremy Scott Masser, 21, of 6406 Route 42, Unityville, has been charged with theft for allegedly taking a chainsaw from Roger Jarrett’s property at 5680 Route 405 in Clinton Township on September 22, according to state police. He has been sent a summons to appear before District Judge C. Roger McRae.

Failure to return rental car alleged

MUNCY – A Williamsport woman has been charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle after allegedly failing to return a rental car to Carr’s Rent A-Center, 1739 John Brady Drive, Muncy Creek Township, on August 17, state police said.

Shavonne Lynette Starling, 25, of 770 W. Fourth Street, rented a Chevrolet Blazer from the business on August 14 and was to return it three days later, but failed to do so, police said. The vehicle was recovered in Williamsport on August 21. Starling has been sent a summons to appear before District Judge C. Roger McRae.
