MUNCY – A 33-year-old convicted sex offender has been charged with failing to notify state police of his new address when he moved earlier this month from the city to the borough, according to borough police.

Adam Lee Fisher of 36 S. Main St. moved from the 900 block of Meade Street on Feb. 16, police said. State law required that he alert state police of any address change within 48 hours.

Fisher had not done that when borough police stopped his vehicle on West Mechanic Street last Saturday. Following his arraignment before District Judge James H. Sortman on the felony charge, he was committed to the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $10,000 bail.
