Rabbittown Road around 2 p.m. Saturday afternoon. Township Fire Chief Tim Lupold said the property owner, known only as the Fry family, was getting the home ready to rent. Volunteer firefighters from the township, Hughesville, Clarkstown and Picture Rocks had the fire knocked down in about 20 minutes. Lupold said he and Cpl. Nicholas A. Loffredo, a state police fire marshal, determined the probable cause of the fire was an electrical short in a microwave oven.

WOLF TOWNSHIP – Four people, believed to be between the ages of 17 and 20, were injured when their van slammed into a tree on Pine Run Road in Wolf Township about 1 p.m. Saturday, state police said.
