Woman accused of stealing from stepfather
A Muncy woman has been jailed for allegedly stealing two of her stepfather’s credit cards and using one of them to pay for a night at the Days Inn in South Williamsport, according to state police.
Jennifer Kay Michael, 28, of 16 N. Market St., was taken into custody at her motel room about 9 a.m. Thursday after allegedly stealing the credit cards from the Clinton Township home of Clifford and Penelope Cole at 12 Abbey Lane the previous day, police said.
Following her arraignment hours later before District Judge C. Roger McRae on charges of theft, access device fraud and possession of drug paraphernalia, Michael was committed to the Lycoming County Prison in lieu $10,000 bail.
