Woman accused of fracas outside bar

By Staff | May 5, 2011

MUNCY – Asked by barroom management to leave a 27 Route 442, Muncy Creek Township business April 2, a local woman allegedly escalated her nuisance-making outside.

State police arriving at the scene at 12:45 a.m. allege Loraine Ann Miller, 38, of 1200 Laver Road was drunk and disorderly.

Troopers said she was yelling, pounding on vehicles and when she allegedly thrust herself toward officers, they were forced to use an arm bar technique to place handcuffs on her.

Police said Miller’s son arrived and was allowed to drive her away. She was sent a summons to appear before District Judge C. Roger McRae.
