HUGHESVILLE – Route 220 in Wolf Township was the site of a DUI enforcement checkpoint for the county’s task force, which made four arrests there Friday night.

One of the four drivers arrested allegedly was under the influence of drugs, said task force Coordinator William C. Solomon.

Eight drivers out of the 192 vehicles stopped were given field sobriety tests, he said. Officers issued seven citations and 26 written warnings.

Solomon said the team will participate in the national DUI crackdown until July 5.
