Montgomery citizens concerned over recent vandalism
MONTGOMERY – According to police chief Terry Lynn vandalism that occurred in July has a prime suspect in custody. A vehicle was vandalized and several other cars throughout the summer.
Chief Lynn addressed borough council members and concerned citizens that the investigation is still ongoing. “If anyone sees anyone breaking into cars or vandalizing they are to call 911 and try to identify them if they could,” said Lynn. He also said he would increase patrols in the area.
“It curtailed itself already,” he said. “We haven’t had an incident of that since the beginning of the month.” He also urged everyone to lock their cars, even parked in driveways and to keep car windows closed.
