MUNCY – A pedestrian reportedly suffered serious injuries when struck by a vehicle in the first block of North Main Street about 1:15 p.m. Thursday.

The pedestrian’s identity and condition were not known. Efforts to get any details of the incident from borough police Thursday night were unsuccessful.

It was reported that the victim initially was taken to Muncy Valley Hospital and may have been flown to Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.
