By Staff | Oct 25, 2011

MUNCY – Larry Dane Aunkst Jr., 26, of 1635 Route 442, has been charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia by state police, according to court records.

Police responded to Keystone Filler at 214 Railroad St., Muncy Creek Township, after a call made by David W. Pfleegor, Aunkst’s supervisor, of alleged drug activity by Aunkst and other workers at the business, police said.

After emptying his pockets, Pfleegor found a plastic bag containing a white substance and a needle, which Aunkst told police was heroin.

Aunkst was released on $2,500 bail and waived his preliminary hearing on Oct. 13 before District Judge C. Roger McRae. He is scheduled to be arraigned on Nov.14.
