MONTGOMERY – Jeremy Wayne Winder, 21, of 61 N. Main St., Montgomery, has been charged with allegedly stealing a credit card to make ATM transactions on Aug. 6, police said.

The man faces charges of fraud, theft and receiving stolen property for making ATM transactions and purchases at the Uni-Mart in Montgomery and Turkey Hill in Muncy totaling more than $454, according to court records.

Winder told police that his friend, Brett Reynolds, had given the card to him and told him to make withdrawals for him because he didn’t know how to use the machines.

He has been sent a summons to appear before District Judge C. Roger McRae on Nov. 17.
