Two hurt in Rt. 405 collision
MUNCY – The drivers involved in last Thursday night’s two-vehicle head-on collision on Route 405 have been identified as Dianne M. Persing, of Montgomery, and Nicolette Ann Anderson, of Muncy Creek Township, state police said.
Persing was reported in critical condition in Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, while Anderson was discharged Friday from the Williamsport Regional Medical Center, according to nursing supervisors.
Persing was traveling south on Route 405 when her SUV crossed into the northbound lane, striking Anderson’s pickup truck head-on about 4:15 p.m., police said.
Two minors, one riding in each vehicle, were examined at the medical centers and released.
