Hughesville senior accused of rape

HUGHESVILLE – A Hughesville High School senior was arrested on charges of sexually assaulting a female on two occasions in January, borough police alleged in court papers.

Jeremey Amoss, 18, of 110 N. Mohawk Drive, Wolf Township, faces a total of 17 felony and misdemeanor charges, including two counts each of rape, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, sexual assault as well as various counts of aggravated indecent assault, indecent assault and corrupting the morals of a minor.

Following his arraignment before District Judge James G. Carn, Amoss was released on $25,000 bail.
