A 74 year old Muncy man was treated for serious injuries when the car he was driving went off Route 442 in Moreland Township about 6:35 p.m. June 30, state police said.

Miles L. Long was injured and his passenger, Lyvera M. Long, 75 sustained minor injury when the vehicle struck an embankment, overturned and landed in the westbound lane, police said.

Long was treated at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. He was not wearing his seat belt, police said. His passenger was wearing a seat belt, police said.
