HUGHESVILLE – A board member of the American Legion Post at 78 N. Main St., Hughesville has been charged with allegedly stealing lottery tickets from the establishment, according to borough Police Chief Jason Gill.

Kim Boyer, 58, of 126 Red Barn Road, is accused of stealing dozens of $1 lottery tickets between Nov. 22 and Nov 25, police said. A video inside the post recorded Boyer allegedly taking the tickets, police said.

Following his arraignment last week before District Judge Jerry C. Lepley on four counts of theft and one count of receiving stolen property, Boyer was released on $5,000 bail. He has waived his preliminary hearing in the case.
