MONTGOMERY –

Last Friday afternoon Cody Klees, a member of the Montgomery Area High School Varsity team was injured when his pickup truck he was driving struck a utility pole and overturned on Elimsport Road, just west of the Brady-Clinton Township line, according to Montgomery police.

Klees, an 18 year old senior, was traveling east when the truck went off the road about 2:45 p.m. As he was wearing his baseball uniform, it was believed that he was en route to the high school for a late afternoon game scheduled at Southern Columbia High School.

Police reported that the teen climbed out of the truck on his own, and was taken by ambulance to Geisinger Medical Center in Danville where he is in critical condition.
