Crash victims sent to three area hospitals
MONTGOMERY – One man remains hospitalized following last Monday’s two-vehicle crash on Route 15, just north of Pinchtown Road, which sent four people to three area hospitals.
Russell B. Frye, 52, of South Williamsport, was reported in fair condition in Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, a hospital spokeswoman said last Wednesday.
A passenger in Frye’s Dodge Neon, his daughter, Lexie, 20, of Williamsport, suffered minor injuries, state police said.
Frye’s car and an SUV driven by Stephen M. Golden, 68, of Sarasota, Fla., collided about 2:30 p.m. Golden was taken first to Evangelical Community Hospital in Lewisburg and then transferred to Geisinger. He has been discharged.
His wife, Karen, 62, was taken by ambulance to Williamsport Regional Medical Center and since has been discharged, police said.
