A Hughesville man arrested in 2011 for possession and distribution of child pornography was acquitted of all charges by a Lycoming County jury on Monday afternoon, June 3.

Gary Rutkowski, 59, was arrested in Sept. 2011 and charged with having 125 pictures of nude children. He was also charged with six counts of disseminating photographs of child sex acts, after a woman who allegedly received such a photo notified police in Nov. 2010.

Police seized two computers from Rutkowski’s home that were then tested in a state police forensics laboratory before the case went to trial.

The jury returned the not guilty on all counts verdict inside of an hour.
