HUGHESVILLE – A Lock Haven convicted sex offender has been charged with failing to register his new address while he was working at the Hughesville Volunteer Fire Co. carnival for Benner Amusement earlier this month.

David Michael Embick, 30, convicted of aggravated indecent assault, failed to register with the state police while he was at the carnival grounds during a two-week period, according to court records. As a Megan’s Law offender, he is required to notify state police within 48 hours anytime his address changes.

Embick was arraigned before District Judge James Carn on June 6 and released on $18,500 bail.
