HUGHESVILLE – A Northumberland County man has been charged with allegedly shooting another male, believed to be a minor, in the buttocks with a BB gun, according to state police.

Cory Glen Dodson, 28, of 1251 Whitehall Road, Turbotville, has been charged with recklessly endangering, simple assault and disorderly conduct as a result of the incident in the 1300 block of Horn Hill Road in Wolf Township about 4:20 p.m. on March 10, police said.

Dodson and the other male were involved “in shooting one another in a mutual fight,” police said. Dodson has been sent a summons to appear before District Judge Jon E. Kemp.
