Sindy Maria Duran, 39, of Millville, allegedly took $767 worth of merchandise from Sears at the Lycoming Mall, according to state police.

Duran allegedly was caught about 3 p.m. July 21 by store employees trying to leave the store with merchandise in her purse, police said.

She had a false identification and Social Security card with a correct name, police said.

Arraigned on charged of retail theft before District Judge Allen P. Page III, Duran was committed to the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $10,000 bail.
