2 accused of break-in, theft

PENNSDALE – Two men have been arrested and jailed on charges of allegedly breaking into Wentzler’s Fruit Farm, 205 Lycoming Mall Road, and stealing $600 cash during the early morning hours of Sept. 1, according to Muncy Township police.

Jolan Douglas Potter, 21, of 75 Bullet Hill Road, Montoursville, and formerly of Schnee Avenue, Montgomery, and Joshua Gerald Hicks, of 214 Hemlock Hill Road, Montgomery; both face charges of burglary, felony trespassing, theft and criminal mischief.

After smashing a bay window, Hicks crawled into the business, and once inside, allowed Potter in, police said.

Following their recent arraignment before District Judge Jon E. Kemp, Potter and Hicks remain jailed in Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $100,000 bail each.
