Possessing weapon on school property

By Staff | Feb 14, 2014

MONTGOMERY – A student at the Montgomery Area School has been charged with possessing a weapon on school property and disorderly conduct for allegedly bringing a pocket knife to school on Nov. 11, according to state police.

Kino Emmerson Satteson, 18, of 533 Wise Road, admitted to bringing the knife to the school to show it to someone and that he had no intentions of using it or threatening anyone with it, police said.

Still, Satteson said he knew school policy prohibited students from carrying knives on the property. He has been sent a summons to appear before District Judge Jon E. Kemp.
