MONTGOMERY – An elderly woman died early Saturday morning after she was run over by a truck.

Mary Buck, 85, of 565 Cemetery Hill Road, slipped on ice outside her home around 9 a.m. Saturday and fell underneath a stationary diesel fuel truck that was there delivering fuel, according to Lycoming County Coroner Charles E. Kiessling.

The driver of the truck pulled away, unaware that Buck was underneath the vehicle, resulting in her death by multiple trauma.

“He pulled away and didn’t even know she was there,” Kiessling said.

Buck died at the scene, according to Kiessling.
