Woman’s shoplifting charges mount
MUNCY – Shoplifting charges continue to mount against 27 year old Tyrennie Nicole Aunkst, who already has two convictions for the offense.
Jailed since Tuesday, April 1 at the Lycoming County Prison on a probation violation as well as for unpaid fines, Aunkst, of 835 Route 442, has been charged with felony shoplifting for allegedly twice fleeing the Turkey Hill Minit Mart, 18 E.Water Street, without paying for gas, borough police said.
Aunkst fled the convenience store on Jan. 14 and again the next day after pumping $20 worth of gas each time, police said.
Court records state that until this week, she was out on $10,000 bail for a shoplifting case in Northumberland County.
Following her arraignment before District Judge James Carn on the new shoplifting offenses, Aunkst was recommitted to the jail in lieu of $18,500 bail.
