ALLENWOOD – Brett M. Diehl, 26, of 1778 Gap Road, has been charged with theft and theft by deception for allegedly stealing his stepsister’s $600 laptop and selling it for $75 to Montour Wireless on Washington Boulevard in late March, state police said.

The victim was identified as Christy Miller, of the same address, police said.

Diehl has been sent a summons to appear before District Judge Jon E. Kemp.
