A motorcyclist critically injured in a crash earlier this month on Muncy Exchange Road in Muncy Creek Township has died of his injuries, state police confirmed.

Chad D. Bowersox, 37, of Watsontown, died at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, on or about July 15, police said.

When last contacted about the man’s condition, a nursing supervisor last week said Bowersox had “been discharged.”

Bowersox lost control of his cycle as he was traveling south on Muncy Exchange Road about 6 p.m. on July 5, police said.

The cycle went down on its right side and slid cross the northbound lane, police said. Bowersox then was run over by a northbound Jeep Cherokee driven by a 17-year-old Williamsport girl, police said.
