Man survives drug overdose, charged

A man who survived a heroin overdose in his Armstrong Township home has been charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia after state police recovered a bag of the drug in the man’s bathroom.

Robert Noah Ritter, 26, of 2936 Jacks Hollow Road, overdosed in his bathroom on June 17, police said. He has been sent a summons to appear before District Judge Jon E. Kemp.
