9 accused of shoplifting offenses
PENNSDALE – Muncy Township police have charged nine people with shoplifting and related offenses, according to court records filed at the office of District Judge Jon E. Kemp. Those charged and the department stores that were victimized were:
Adam William Varano, 28, of 661 Yeagle Road, Montoursville; felony shoplifting and receiving stolen property at Target, Lycoming Crossing, on six occasions between Oct. 17 and Nov. 8; total valued of stolen merchandise, $848; jailed in lieu of $30,000 bail.
Michael Devon Moore, 20; his cousin, Kareema M. Moore, 22, both of 915 Park St., Williamsport, and Karemia A. Vann, 25, of 2326 W. Fourth St., Williamsport; shoplifting, conspiracy to commit shoplifting and receiving stolen property at J.C. Penney, Lycoming Mall, on Nov. 3; total value of stolen merchandise, $634; initially jailed, but all three are now released on $35,000 bail.
Christopher Mark Stiller, 25, of DuBoistown, and Melissa B. Smith, 29, of Locust Street, Williamsport; shoplifting, conspiracy to commit shoplifting and possession of an instrument of crime at Sam’s Club, Lycoming Mall on Nov 2; total value of the stolen merchandise, $170; Stiller jailed in lieu of $35,000 bail; Smith jailed in lieu of $50,000 bail.
Richard Franklin Hollenbach Jr., 37, of 3089 Route 44 Allenwood; shoplifting, conspiracy to commit shoplifting and receiving stolen property at Target on Sept. 13, Sept. 20 and Sept. 30; total value of stolen merchandise, $1,485; released on $25,000 bail.
Kijifa A. Anderson, 25, 722 Second St., Williamsport; shoplifting and receiving stolen property at J. C. Penney on Aug. 21; total value of stolen merchandise, $698; sent a summons to appear before Kemp.
Bryan Michael Vance, 25, of Mainesburg; felony shoplifting, conspiracy to commit shoplifting and receiving stolen property at Target on July 24, Aug. 1 and Aug. 6; total value of stolen merchandise, $1,270; a bench warrant was expected to be filed after he failed to show for hearing.
