ALLENWOOD – The Muncy Bank and Trust Co. on Route 44 in Dewart was robbed about 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 14 according to state police report.s

“A man, described as white, walked in and demanded money from a teller. He displayed a weapon and fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash in a white sedan,” Trooper Adrian Bordner.

No other details were released.

Police did not say what kind of weapon was used in the holdup nor did they comment on whether any customers were in the bank at the time.
