Diane L. Sanner, 41, of Hughesville, died from injuries she suffered in a car crash late Friday night on Route 180 in Fairfield Township, according to state police.

Sanner was driving east on Route 180, just past Cemetery Road, around 11 p.m. in a Ford Mustang when she traveled onto the road’s north berm. The driver overcorrected and traveled across both eastbound lanes, striking the road’s south embankment, according to Trooper Troy Hansen.

The vehicle rolled an unknown number of times after striking the embankment and Sanner, not wearing a seat belt, was thrown from the car, dying as a result, police said.
